Is it fake as you’d never tell at that distance? wink
I think the replica market will be small in those ,that’s a design only it’s mother could love hehe

Les should try and team up with a watch company like Hublot for some TVR LE specials.

I'd still take a manual non-existing car over an automatic-only existing one !!!

Me too!!

We could even organise monthly meets in our non existing manuals and do pretend hoons through never before seen non existing alternate countryside... We could even form our own 'Not TVR Owners Club' and wear not really a Rolex watches so we could recognise each other.....

The possibilities are endless biggrin

Well apparently TVR are doing a Ford, any colour as long as it's black, but in their case it's any colour as long as it's camouflage.

I would like to add that fabulous time peice is not mine hehe
It’s mine.

It’s not ‘a fake’, it dates back to the PW era, it was made by Sewills of Liverpool as an example of what they could do for TVR. TVR subsequently requested a couple of changes and then sold them through their factory merchandise. Think they were ITRO £750 - £1000 then. I do know they did sell a few.

So it’s kind of a Prototype, thought that would suit me! Fully certified Swiss Chronometer, with all papers. Had it for probably 25+ years now.

Chris.

Thanks for the little bit of history to go with this. Very interesting.

For those not into watches, Sewills were basically the original supplier to british admiralty/navy. One of their more famous peices being “the ark royal”.

Who could TVR use today...Bentley used Breitling.

Nice one and enough to dislocate your wrist!

If Les doesn’t pull a finger out we’ll end up talking watches from now on.

I have 3 mates..ALL clients.
All in SF
They ALL sell their watches every time they have to switch divisions.
They have NO alliance other than getting back home.

I have quite a number of watches, the one pictured previously is slightly smaller than my Omega triple day date and significantly smaller than my Brietling Crosswind Special, so if it would dislocate your wrist, then you must have a weak wrist laugh
