Does the lack of feedback mean this is quite a rare colour in the Factory issued colour range?

Could the colour be described as Cherry Red Pearlescent?
If so colour code P161 (which seems to be a TVR specific colour)

Please forgive me (I'm not a TVR owner) .... but you've been given the link to TVR codes. And with access to a paint mixing system I've also given you info relating to the code - so you seem to have been given all available info about the colour code.

I'm sorry if I'm appearing to be a bit thick here ...... but what else were you expecting, wanting or needing to find out about your paint code?

Just seems strange ,that no one seems to have the same colour,as there is usually a few pics thrown on from various marks of the TVR world

Is there any chance your car has been repainted?

The image in your profile looks to be a really bold red, whereas images of Honda cars in R72P seem to be more of a pinkish red.

Of course it's really difficult to compare colours on a monitor !

Depending on why you need to confirm the paint code, it might be worth buying a spray can or bottle of touch up in Honda R72P.

Another option is to take your car for a run over to Blackpool and let the guys at S&D take a look .... good excuse for a roadtrip too

I had a Cherry Pearl 1992 Pre-Cat Griffith, bought in 1994. At the time I believe it was a rare colour as it was an expensive option, subsequently I think people probably started going for Rosso Pearl so there weren't many done in Cherry Pearl after 92 or 93.

What year is your car?
