I was at a traffic light cross roads in Hipperholme near Halifax

3 wedges, two white and one silver parked outside the Science and Industry Museum in Birmingham one Sunday in 1987.
I think 2 were SEAC's iirc.

First I really remember was a White Griff, most likely an early 500 on a wet dark evening just near Trent Bridge in Gainsborough, 1993/4 ish.

Despite being impressed I never planned to own one. Even took the mickey out of a couple of TVR owning acquaintances, and then I succumbed.

Two Chimaera's in quick succession and then I foolishly popped over to Silverstone TVR when they first opened and very possibly bought the first car Steve and Matt sold.

It was a silver 4.0 ex-Looney Tunes car, it's now a white 4.5. Almost certainly I've spent the purchase price on it all over again. New engine. Bigger brakes. New suspension. New gearbox. Respray. Lots of other bits... TADTS. It still needs a new or improved interior too, but on a sunny day and a dry, empty road it still makes me smile.
