Is the use of Berkeley Square any reference to the story about Smolensky getting kicked in the shins by a small child and told he'd killed TVR? A story touted by Les Edgar. smile

i don't want to start another 'new TVR' hatefest, but it is starting to really annoy me seeing that new Griffith driving around the place.

Agreed, the very best thing we loyal TVR enthusiasts can do is choose not to invite Les Edgar, in fact we should call that car an Edgar, sounds like Edsel. It's no more a TVR than those Chinese SAIC MG saloon cars are MG's

It got a lot of attention, generated a lot of interest, a few people got given loops around Berkley Square. Can't be a bad thing promoting the brand. Many people were asking how much a TVR like our would cost, considering ownership...

Crikey you're easily annoyed I can't see why you have a problem with it, it exists, it might be the only one ever of it's kind, I hope not, but it is a proper real TVR, it's not a Chinese copy whether you like it or not. You could better spend your annoyed energy on all the god dammed awful electric stuff appearing on our roads.

It is starting to grow on me seeing these pictures and those Karen has put up on Facebook. It's still promoting the brand?

I'm happy to promote interest in the old ones, create a bigger demand.

There is only so much 'promoting the brand' the guy can do before the market just says look, if you've still not got a product, and you're still holding (or have spent) all of those deposits then can you just maybe spend less time promoting and more time achieving and doing? No more promoting is really required, as the crap story coming from new TVR is promoting itself.

I do know how you feel, LE has definitely failed properly on communications, people like to be kept informed and he has come across as though he doesn't give a damm about his deposit givers I presume some still have their £££'s in?

Having said all that i do find it growing on me, you can't deny it has presence and will draw people to it. As someone has already said a few small changes to the front and it would be so much more desirable but he hasn't listened to that eitherrolleyes

The child will be old enough now to aim a bit higher with Les.
