Random TVR Pics (Vol 2)
Discussion
17 inch and 18 inch on a day at Curborough Sprint Track. Looking closely, I have my number three son with me. At the time he had a 1.2 Vauxhall Corsa. His first outing in the TVR was something like a 1.39 minutes. He had never driven a rear wheel drive car before. By the end of the day he had knocked 10 seconds off his time, not bad and if I remember right less than two seconds behind me which was pretty good.

I vaguely think I was there that day and he was faster than me.I put it down to his natural mechanical sympathy.
Showing my age, I now call him Mike the Mechanic.

18" RL7's? Where are they from?
Mine are Ford Fitment (4x108), and I believe Raceline made them in 15 - 18 inch sizes, in various widths and offsets. Mine were previously on an Escort Cosworth before I purchased them, and turn up on the Ford forums from time to time.Andrew.

If you find a set of Cerb wheels they will be the correct offset.Andrew.

The new TVR...
Based on a Chimaera, with Cobra looks, guess it was based on a cheap (for NL) RHD base? then no problem with the RHD dash and pedals I guess when going Cobra.
As if they aren't enough Cobra replica's yet around

came across another one using a TVR base for its project.
this time a 1980 TVR Wedge V6, which used to make a Tribute D-TYPE...

its RHD and they want to get rid of it to the UK ;-) looking through the pictures, they have a lot of oldies and lightweights around
