I didn't book up in the end, wanted to get around the clubs Cadwell Park track day wth no issues first. Bit wet in the morning (the track not me) but started to dry out at 11 and bone dry in the afternoon. Managed not to crash, so up for a day at Snetterton should there be any interest.
I've got some good photos of you from Cadwell :-)too big to upload - just tried twice...
Another great day.
Good company, great weather and fantastic cars!
Just the four of us, Stuart, Trevor, Paul and me flying the flag for TVR. Strangely Stuarts tamora look like a BMW one series, it must've been the light!
We had a great day and I would like to say that we were the fastest round the track but that would be a lie
It was interesting swapping cars with Trevs very quick 4.0 to compare the difference between his proper Toyo Triple 8's and my cheapy Federal 595s.
I reckon the Toyos are the better tyre but they are twice the price! Anyhow, the Federals performed extremely well but needed more heat in them before you could dial in the beans!
I disgraced myself by spinning in front of a Mercedes C 63! I blame him entirely as I was passing him down the main straight, he defended his position and wouldn't pull back as he should've done and therefore I didn't have the perfect racing line and was also dammed if I was going to let him stay with me! Anyhow that's my excuse. A little exuberance and we had a little tarmac spin with Paul staying nice and reserved in the passenger seat!
Apart from that, a great day! Good to see everyone and maybe next time we can have a few more regulars and newbies to join the party.

Really good fun today, I thought my car was fairly well sorted til I accepted Peters kind offer of a spin in the 5.5 beast, it's obviously very quick but the most impressive part was how it goes round corners a real eye opener, I spent the morning dragging the rear of mine round the corners which although being great fun is not the quickest way to get round, a couple of clicks up on the rear shocks made a great improvement.
Anyone fancy another day out before Christmas.
Anyone fancy another day out before Christmas.
There is a day at Rockingham in the beginning of December that may appeal.
It LOOKS LIKE there is no noise limit, and with their early bird discount it is only £145.
If the noise limit it true we might be able to get some of the Cerbera crowd along.
So I will give Rockingham a call and see if the Unsilenced means what it says.
Oh, and it's on a Saturday, too.
Great thing for spectators etc is that you can see the entire track from the grandstands - only track that i know where that is true.

For women, and those with no sense of direction (James May clones), Rockingham is just outside Corby, in Northants. So not far from Bedford, Peterborough, Leicester etc. ie pretty central.
