I recently read in "TVR The Peter Wheeler Years" (thank you Santa) that uptake was virtually non existent (was it as many as 2...?) because nobody had noticed that the Italian tax system considered power outout as well as capacity...

Unfortunately, due to the age of the thread, you still can't see one in here either. However, some evidence that the mythical 2L V8S did and in fact does exist in Italy. ClickyWhich goes a long way towards explaining why no one has ever seen one ...until now.
