I was hoping some kind of link to the Tuscan with a few headlights following the front bonnet line.
Hm, that was the worst aspect of the Mk1Tuscan according to many (myself included). Ours has the front indicator position above the twin headligts deleted as per the later ones, and looks a whole lot better for it. Big fan of TVR but not impressed with the goofy Grouper Gaped Griffith. I was really looking forward to seeing the new model appreciating TVR's unique and unconventional styling from past decades. TVRs never looked like anything else on the road. As with many here I think they've done well on the rest of the car although the rear is a bit Lexus LFA. All in all though there seems to be little if anything unique about the styling and certainly doesn't shout T V R.
They were doing a better design job over a decade ago...
E.G. Tuscan Mk2 (below and the Sagaris). Both unmistakably different and equally appealing.

The above Tuscan & Sagaris images say it all really - pictures painting a thousand words and all that.
Obviously, in any final analysis (whether derived from a focus group exercise or otherwise), it's just personal taste anyway.
Time will tell. Any residual doubts about whether the new car is much better viewed in reality, rather than just in photographic-image-form, seems to be a recurrent theme with this PH thread. Surely for the 'wow factor' to be actually present, the 'want and must have one' feeling should actually shout its presence in either/both photographic images or hard reality form(s), as distinct from one and not the other? The next time an automotive wall poster appears labelled: 'This car is even more stunning when you see it in front of you' will be a first...

As a Chimaera owner I didn't like the look of the Tuscan when it first came out. There were all sorts of design details I didn't like.
Then I saw a few rumbling around and got the 'I've got to get one of those one day' feelings that only a few cars stir up for me. I've had my Tuscan S about 6 years now
I wouldn't be surprised if the final version of the new Griff has the same effect on people when it is out in the wild.

When you are driving the car you can't see the front.
Who cares how it's wrapped up as long as we see the resurrection!
Sounds a bit like: " It doesn´t matter how she looks like. Just leave the light switched off"Who cares how it's wrapped up as long as we see the resurrection!
