When you are driving the car you can't see the front.
Who cares how it's wrapped up as long as we see the resurrection!
The resurrection depends on the looks though? Who cares how it's wrapped up as long as we see the resurrection!

Sounds a bit like: " It doesn´t matter how she looks like. Just leave the light switched off"Who cares how it's wrapped up as long as we see the resurrection!

The comments are all personal taste . Sadly, there is enough negativity that i doubt we will ever see this creation /rebirth of tvr on our roads! Please form an orderly queue to get you deposit back! Very sad but that is what i feel will happen. Big shame.
Go read up then chap.. ur way behind !!Can I ask as a last question where do people think the poll figures should be for a successful launch?
When a new ....say lambo or Ferrari comes out, I will ignore Porsche as their design department has effectively been asleep for a generation, where would the poll be.
Obviously every manufacturer would be aiming for 100% approval, but that isn't realistic. So what poll figures in focus groups do you think would make Ferrari do a redesign before an unveiling, and would we ever know about it ?

The poll represents the views of 130 people, 69 have said it's ugly and 61 have said stick with it... 500 people have apparently put deposits down for the LE, and who knows how many more have put deposits down for the MY01 cars...
I'm not sure TVR will be taking too much notice of 69 subjective opinions (and I'd guess many of those won't have seen it in the flesh) on a website forum, particularly one where a large percentage of opinions on almost anything or any car are typically negative anyway

Ferrari, and all bigger manufacturers, for that matter, is a different ballgame. Not much is random there and they have a grand scheme of design in which everything in the palette has to fit. I doubt they would be influenced by any poll. If the poll was restricted to people who have actually clapped eyes on the thing, I’m guessing the results would be different.
They will be different again once they are seen (and heard) on the streets.
From the images I’d say they have tried to include too many touches from the past. (Something Peter Wheeler would never worry about).
But I refuse to slag it until I’ve seen it and even then, have to be careful. I didn’t like the Chimaera when I first saw it and I’m on my 3rd now.
They have to start somewhere and this is a solid if not sensational beginning. Because they are so small an outfit, things can be easily tweaked along the way.
