Hi all, my chimaera clock is correct for BST, ie only 6 months of the year. The black pin push adjuster will not advance. Any ideas if repairable or a trek round the breakers? Or is it from another more common vehicle with a TVR sticker? Thanks, Lee.

Assuming its the same as a Griffith...

Mine turned with a little extra pressure and only in 1 direction. If you have aftermarket trim on the dials that could be restricting the adjuster.

If you need a repair they are made by CAI and on the rear you will find the part number which will tell you the specific part, colour, decal etc.. Somethling like ECA4- E123-A15 older guages were just several digits I think i.e. EC12456B or something like that.

They show these companies as suppliers http://www.caigauge.com/uk-distributors and if yours is a common one they could have it in stock. Maybe try Speedy Cables first as it looks like they are on the same industrial estate as CAI themselves so if it ends up being an odd component they can probably speak to them direct.

Mine does this unfortunately. I took the lighting circuit fuse out for 1 hour to allow the world to catch up.

Its fuse no 10 on my car but it may vary of course!

I fitted a voltmeter. There is a clock on the radio display.

FWIW you can buy replacement clocks from TVR Parts.
