i want a TVR but only have 10K

If you want a V8, go for the Chimaera, there are three for sale on PH within your budget. None listed as having outriggers replaced, which means they will probably need doing within the next five years but it's not as expensive a job as it once was and if you're budgeting £2k/year you should have enough to cover it.
Don't forget, you are buying a car that will almost certainly suffer no depreciation as long as you look after it. So, you may throw a couple of grand at it each year for maintenance but you'd lose that in depreciation on something more mundane.

I spotted it this week when I was in Milford-on-Sea and passed the dealership. It shows-up on the PH wedge owners list at No.251, Dave-M, in Yorkshire, but I’ve never seen it around here on the S.Coast so do not know if it is now a locally-owned car.
I checked on Cazana and according to the MoT records it’s only done 8K miles in the past decade, and looks like it didn’t move from the autumn of 2015 to the summer of 2016:
June 2008 68402
Aug 2009 71131
Aug 2010 72677
March 2012 73474
December 2013 73690
July 2014 73748
Sept 2015 74084
June 2016 74089
Nov 2016 74301
Feb 2018 74570
The advisories have been mainly tyres, brakes, and electrics, the latter consistent with a car that may have been in store for a while hereabouts in a sea air environment ? It has also had a few “intermediate” MoT’s, possibly ahead of previous attempts to sell it ?
Here’s what the AutoTrader ad says: “Truly Stunning well looked after example of a 350i, with huge history folder. Finished in rare arctic white with contrasting black leather interior and dark blue carpets. Must be seen to be fully appreciated. Chassis is totally immaculate as is engine. True collectors example, drives beautifully”.
It looks good in the detail photos, and IMHO has to be worth checking-out if you are in the market for a wedge. Check with the Yorkshire region lads to see if they know its previous history.

Sounds like they're selling them a bit cheap to me.
I don't understand why people would list a car for sale on a platform where half the potential buyers can't see it. (Bit of a guess I admit but about half the adult population use it?). Yes it's undoubtedly free but everyone can see Autotrader, classifieds on here, other classics listing sites and ebay. And if you're trying to get £10k for a car, what's £15 for an advert?

Mind you the Griff 500 that sold on Ebay this evening for £16K looked like value to me.
Relisted as a classified for £18,995:https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TVR-Griffith-500-1996-C...
