I really don't understand, how can there be no supply (other than the few this supplier has)?

There's been no supply now for at least 12 months, perhaps 18

Sure, the demand from AJP8 4.5 must be fairly small, but every Speed Six needs these as well, and there are thousands of those on the road

It's not like they can be refurbished (at least no one is advertising them)

Sadly not many XR3i around these days so not much demand from the Ford boys

There's probably a case for swapping the butterflies over on the 4.5 and re-working the cable and arms to operate the spindles anti clockwise now.

So, what value does that put these at if they are unobtainable?

If they're brand new then probably 130 pounds each. The black ones linked to earlier are 128 ...

Used but working when they came off a car. I doubt I'd sell as I couldn't guarantee their quality, even if they checked out ok on a test meter.
I have a grey one too, but you say they are still available?

I heard they were manufacturing more of the blue ones and they would be available in the next few weeks.

They appear to have the TVR part number on them, so they could easily be 15 years old

Ive found a potential supplier on Alibaba who can manufacture a copy of the Ford 88WF-9B989-CA part. Their minimum order is 10 though, so i thought i would ask here how much interest there would be. I'm not sure of overall cost yet and i dont know the full shipping and import duties etc, but before i do find out any further it would be useful gauge other people's opinions. I'd rather not have to buy 10 for myself!!

I was going to order 100 and sell them over a period of time

However I was only able to find someone who could supply existing stock, and they only had 4, so I have ordered them for my own use

They haven't arrived yet, but I will let you know how it works out

Also, I would want to be sure that 88WF-9B989-CA is the same as 91XF-9B989-BA before committing to an order

I got the 'CA' part number from the Alex Judd alternative parts list, believing it to be the blue tp. Is the part number you have quoted another variant??.

Hi,
Depends on overall cost but I am definitely interested in two throttle pots. They will eventually need replacing as my Cerb is over 100,000 miles now.
My costs will also include post to Perth, Western Australia.

Depending on price I’d have two. If the price is really good then four. Have some spares.

Very pleased with my purchase

They appear to be made by CTS, not sure who they are

Check out the part number!

In fact they look identical the the used sensors that Andy_mr2sc posted above

I believe 4.2s use the white ones? What is the difference? Would blue ones work in a 4.2? If so, I might be interested in a set.
