Looking to upgrade my Pre-Cat Griff front brakes due to a soon to be engine rebuild and Turbo conversion...bounce

I've had a few suggestions ranging from use standard 5 litre to selling a kidney and going mental but I have a question..

I was told I can use/adapt a Ford Focus ST set up. Anyone done this?

Cheers
Rich

This seems to be popular. Personally, I found the 260mm brakes ok but the pre-cats will have 240mm and I did up-grade those when I had them

I've been on this journey. What you end up with, will depend on many factors, Here are some links you might find useful

Hi Rich
How goes it?
I went the Bemba route and have to say they are very good and will handle whatever your engine upgrade throws at it. All parts required are itemised on the last page of the link. If you can do all this under £400 it’s a bargain!
Cheers

Cheers chaps, interesting stuff.

Hi Ian, Hope you the Wife are well?
That link does look like the easiest route.
Is this what you have fitted?
I have 16” wheels on the front so I’ll need to check it fits but if it does I’ll go for it.
I’ll give you a call tomorrow if that’s okthumbup

Another alternative worth considering are the WMS Kits (Google WMS Brakes), it's a few years since I fitted one but I think the whole kits came in at just over £600 for 4-Pot Billet calipers and 280mm disks. Very easy to fit.
