The other item Rossybee missed was the ‘annoying expressions’ thing. I’ve just read another one... microagression... never heard it before, it’s on another thread here on PH. It’s obviously a ‘thing’, it’s even on Wikipedia ffs...
I actually didn't! My subtle insertion of brain wok clearly was just errrr too subtle wink

But if we're venting, something my kids (22 & 19) have picked up from social media is "on the weekend" grrrr - they now just use it to get a reaction from their 'auld faither' to alarming success....

Could 'TVR' restart production in a limited way by outsourcing the production build to another company..

Names like Super Performance in South Africa / Lotus / a random Chinese company
to quickly get the company back on the road ..

While in parallel building their own facility ?

When I was a yoof I worked on a building site for a few months (hod carrier) and one day the site foreman said to me ‘you can stick this job right up your ar*se, I couldn’t get a better job nowhere for less money than this’

Really dunno why I posted that. scratchchin

I’m still figuring it out.

What he meant that is, not why you posted it I haven’t started on that yet, I’m saving it for tomorrow.

So, actually, to be fair, some of the expressions or words mentioned earlier are, like, literally, absolutely valid for the new TVR.

Seriously, with an onshoring high-level strategy and some cross-pollination of high-level learnings, they'll have the makings of a robust yet organic business strategy. Obvs.

See - where you're going wrong is the marketing;

Audi have the Tattie Tray (TT)
Ford the Radish Shelf (RS)
McLaren the Lettuce Table (LT)
...and how could I ignore Vauxhall and their Veg Xtra Rack? Perhaps some copyright infringement there?

Indeed but not all wasted money as the production tooling would be used later. Plus some profit.

The longer the TVR name is dead, the harder it will be to get re-investment and restart.

They do not have anything to build. They have one old prototype that has neither been extensively tested nor developed.

Why would LNT have been a saviour? He has a car company and that does not really build any road cars. I think his attitude to road cars has been made very clear given the direction in which he took Ginetta.
