It is happening - they're raising pre-IPO money now
Which IB is supporting the IPO?

And I’ll add - gone from ‘bright eyed bushy tailed evangelical TVR fan proud and delighted to be an early deposit holder’ to ‘now bought something else and don’t really care now’ via ‘total frustration and pissed off with the stty treatment of deposit holders’.
...who pulled their deposit...
we bought a house in Wales instead...

I so want this to succeed. I like the car, the interior grew on me except for a small panel and I like and understand the look of the outside...but...come on...the wait is intolerable.

to create a company with value
And what is that value exactly?

One, half finished and not yet homologated for sale car, which uses an old crate engine from another manufacturer, an engine for which afaict the supply of which is not guaranteed and that has exhaust emissions that could lead it to be banned from certain areas in a short number years time, a company with no production facility (bar the frame of a building itself that just keeps the rain out) and no development or production staff with which to complete and then make that car, and of course a significant debt sat over it's head that could be called in at any time.

Sorry, but i won't be "investing" in that one.......

We'll find out if they go with an IPO, probably very little, like I said, it's what a cynical person might think

I can’t see any of the big syndicates underwriting this.. infact this smells bogus to me.

What are they going to list on. Some toy town exchange. Typically you’ll need three years financial records.... tricky.

And as Aston Martin proved recently, car companies are tricky things to float for good money......

Any updates about how the builders are getting on?
I don't know about the builders but TVR Automotive's (dormant company) confirmation date was 1st October which they have missed but they do have until today - 15th - to comply. They seem to be missing quite a lot at the moment......
Much appreciated, only news posted here recently although not looking good
Have another look laugh

There are 34 listed shareholders (several duplicated between ordinary and ordinary 'A' shares). I tried to copy a link from the pdf document but the URL is about 12 lines long!

No.1 on the list is Riseden Ltd with 50,000.

Les Edgar has 660,000 ordinary shares and 400,0000 Ordinary 'A' shares. I don't know the significance of the 'A' but presume it's voting entitlement or somesuch.

There's a Robert Edgar Simmons with 625,000 ordinary shares, the second most by anyone, a relation?

Robert Simmons was a director of TVR Automotive and Manufacturing and resigned in April 2015.

Share allocation listed yesterday: https://s3.eu-west-2.amazonaws.com/document-api-im...

Not having a pop at anyone but shareholding/published figures/accounts etc who gives a flying wotsit. Simple fact is there's no car and no information (of any value) why.

I was as excited as everyone else about this, but to be honest, given what's happened over the last few years, if a car were to go into production now I for one would not be a customer. Sadly.

On that note I'd leave this thread and not bother reading or posting again. But there's some good banter going on so I'll stay biggrin Even if some of you are complete idiots and in some cases a bit retarded.

My sentiments entirely. Plus there’s newcomers like Puppy who thinks the world can all be explained by her oblique references to the Land Registry.

It keeps this thread going because, as Baconsarney has said, there's no car, no factory, no meaningful information and this is all we have left to play with.............. tumbleweed
