But why would Les phone you up? If you went to investigate third party sources such as social media, forums etc, why not quote the latest information on this thread which included a copy of the email sent to deposit holders? Why not look at companies house and the movement there? Why not mention the comments from the welsh government? It’s almost as if you arrived at a conclusion and dismissed anything that didn’t support it.
He’s no Columbo hehe

This is a little dude with a digital camera, what were you expecting. Financial Times insight hehe

Wouldn’t you have thought there would be a regular update on the website?
Photos of the factory?
Artists impression?
Update on the testing?
For getting on for 2 years there’s been nowt, and the ‘secret’ updates are bizarre. Its no way to carry on.

They just don’t get it, and think a sticker on a LM car and a number plate is enough.

He’s just commenting on an obvious lack of pr and activity and social media presence.

Members of the public or target owners of this car aren’t going to look into companies house or get secret updates if they’re thinking about a new car.

He’s 100% correct, pr and advertising etc has been completely woeful. The fact that the news updates are now secret to avoid public scrutiny shows how bad it all is.

Has anyone ever heard of a business that releases news of new products in secret and tells people to keep it quiet to avoid ridicule?

The guy has only expressed what he knows and thinks based on personal experience. Like people on here do, it’s just a different medium.... Why have a pop at him ?

The new Griff has been spotted in London on a public road. ( parked)
It must have passed the IVA test then?

First time one the internet anyone's ever called me little lol.

I don't have any desire to do the secret squirrel bit because as mentiond above, it should not be necessary.

If I went on a website for a restaurant and they hadn't posted news since 2018, my first thought would be "are they still open?"

The car market is harder now than ever, so keeping hype and interest up is key. A COMPLETE lack of presence on social media now cannot happen by accident. I simply don't believe no news = good news.

I just read the Jan 6th update, as I had no idea these were even made public (evidently they're not meant to be).

Nothing in it has changed my opinion about what I said, sadly. If anything it sounds worse because they're now having to use a different engine.

Somebody commented on the video saying they'd fallen out with Cosworth, is that true? Sounds like it might be.

It’s still a decent looking car imho. Not as jaw dropping as some of the earlier models, but still...

What is quite ironic is there is a ton more discussion, updates and information from unofficial sources such as here.

Maybe we should buy newco off Les and do it ourselves smile

Glad they’ve lost the motul sticker at the top of the front screen.
Wonder if the rear spoiler is now working ?

I'd quite like a big silver TVR badge, right in the middle of the grille (Mustang style) as afocus

I read it as being "we kept some of the work that Cosworth already did"
