Out of curiosity, is there anyone on here who still has a deposit down for this car?

If so, why? smile
I was only thinking the same recently; I seriously considered it originally but wasn't 100% sure, so didn't. However, it seems so long ago now that I couldn't even remember which year that was; a great shame as I really wanted it to succeed (and still do) but time is moving on.

Since becoming vegan (I know, I know) I purchased an air fryer for the missus and she's used it for all sorts of things like onion bhajis, crabless crab cakes, buffalo cauliflower wings and "carrot bacon". I was skeptical about the carrot bacon but it's actually not bad if you get it crispy.

I find that French fries cooked in the air fryer are much crispier than those baked in the oven and the almost total absence of oil in cooking is much healthier.

Newco must still be confident of raising the cash as they have formed yet another company - TVR Parts.

TVR Parts Ltd incorporated on 6 Dec 2020. 4 directors - Chasey/Berriman/Truelove/Edgar (newco).

Wonder if the first parts available might be lithium-ion battery packs and electric motors ready for 2030 hehe

Since they and RG have failed to crack a renewed deal they are obviously looking to set up a new TVR parts venture.

At moments like this you feel like you should just get New co and say Martin Lilley in a room and just
talk.

Questios:

Should we go forward..

or just throw in the towel.

Naturally we cannot sadly invite Peter Wheeler but his thoughts would have been really interesting.

Ultimately there will be a point where failure is inevitable and they just burn through the money in the business paying salaries and rent until its all gone. It may have already passed that point, it isn't clear. I suspect so

They all have other business interests so you may be right. One of the new directors is a director and/or secretary with 8 current positions outside of TVR. He was very bullish about the new company on Facebook at the start of the year and is the factory start-up guru. You might remember he was offering to give some depositors a ride in his chopper. Haven't heard a peep since so must be toeing the party line on media relations.

I feel it's really just a jolly, the fact that they can say they are directors of a sports car company to their mates, and they'll milk that for absolutely as long as possible before quietly slipping away. ie I don't think anyone will actually say "it's over" in so many words

I was up in Greater Manchester yesterday. It ain't Surrey that's for sure.......

Mind you, crims come to Surrey as there are richer pickings aledgedly I guess, that's what I was told by our local copper.
Peter, the latest 'news' from my neighbourhood. Those of a nervous disposition are advised to proceed with caution.
Does this sort of thing happen in Surrey I wonder?
