Ahem, getting back to hairy chest stuff, at the Stars and Stripes at Tatton Park last weekend, a 2019 model ZR1. Starting at £98,000 and add your own extras. yum
Just 8 days and that’ll be old news, and worth £9.80 hehe

Seems things move faster in Kentucky. Bit like their chicken.

Looks like they’re confident it will sell well too. I guess the proposition of finding a charging point in rural US or Canada doesn’t stack up yet.

In that article it says, "A Corvette dealer in Florida has been taking C8 deposits since 2014". Does that mean Les is based in Bowling Green then? hehe

Sadly it seems there is no topic and won't be.

The more I read about all these new electric cars hitting the marketplace and ones that are in development the more I feel this is all too late.

Even though there is this small niche market right now, that window is closing rapidly.

We will smile when the Nissen Leafs of this world came out but now there are performance cars, SUVs and anything you want either now or coming very shortly.

Of course, we won't have the electricity to power them all but that's for another topic!

This is true. Technology is moving a pace with hybrid/BEV. That is what the world want.

The only turbo nutter big petrol bastid cars are from established manufacturers - most of whom are American who produce 'ordinary' cars.

Not only that I think the styling of cars is going to go through a bit of an evolution.

Just look at the VW ID Buzz. They’re taking orders for 2022. It wouldn’t have looked out of place on the set of iRobot all those years ago.

The Griffith is going to start looking pretty dated.

In fairness, the new ‘bus is markedly similar to the 2001 concept that was slated for production in around ‘05 but ultimately cancelled. Just with added LED lights.

So i hate to be the one to bring it up, but has anyone heard anything from newco about the new car, you know, the one they are going to be building at the new factory?

Because when the "new tvr" thread dies on a forum that was the largest and best TVR forum in the world, populated by people who really love TVRs, when that thread dies, you have to wonder if anyone actually cares any longer surely??

Les has always made it clear that he won’t say anything unless there’s something to say. Clearly there is nothing to say. Start saving for the new electric jag F type electrical thingy.

Won't be much happening anytime soon as still no sign of the factory refurb even starting. Just searched job vacancies for TVR and nothing under Rassau/Ebbw Vale so no workforce lined up by the looks of it. Supposed to be 150 jobs. No changes at Companies House and the Facebook page is similar.
