30 odd years ago one of my best friends came back from a stint in the merchant Navy and made rum from a marrow. Kept it in my airing cupboard. If memory serves me correctly, at some later stage he drank a lot of it, collapsed in my bathroom with the door locked from the inside. That was in the days of one bathroom! Reminds me of the summer of '19 when the world was almost normal, Steve Harley was playing at the Towersey folk festival and the crowd wanted to hear 'Come up and see me - make me smile' but was unable to perform it due to the viagra tv adverts at the time, next song up was ..........'Mr Soft' There's nothing left, all gone and run away, Maybe I'll tarry for a while... F.A.O. Phazed - Crime Update: Oh, and trying to work out from the CCTV who the mystery man is caught on film at 12.20am a week ago trying car door handles on the street. Police suspicious of my neighbour and its looking like it might have been him. He managed to open the boot of a Smart car 4 houses away and rummage around in there. Don't know if anything has been taken as the owner is in intensive care with pneumonia following Covid.

Fluck me Iain! I really can't imagine it............Worst thing that's happened here for a while is yesterday, our new dog wouldn't come back when recalled. I became unreasonably annoyed at him.....puts it in context...........clucking dog! Edited by N7GTX on Saturday 27th February 15:31
