Counted 167 bats so more that the Griffith hp per cylinder(@). So much for a small tweetie birds nest right outside our window, talk about looking a fool at your own bbq.

TVR are claiming a power to weight ratio of 400bhp/tonne. Car weighs 1250kgs (allegedly) and the engine produces 480bhp (allegedly) so by my man maths that is 384bhp/tonne. Allegedly.

PS. For gawd's sake don't put the bats on the bbq and eat them....... wink

Did you know that 167 bats will easily fit into the boot of a new TVR Griffith

Some of us doesn't have a garden smile

Else I have seen in my last car magazine a test drive of the Grenadier... Ok they have deeper pockets as TVR's owners but they have a factory (or maybe the first are built directly by Magna Steyr) and cars despite having started after them (if I'm not wrong).
And this is the same kind of old fashioned vehicules.

Plenty of vids on the tube.... Looks excellent.

Drove an old Defender with big mud terrain tyres fitted this morning. I can't express enough how bad it drove. Wandering, the noisiest diesel ever and generally piss poor ergonomics.

Yep, the Grenadier looks good.

In keeping with TVR updates Peter. The factory must be finished by now coz TVR said in January it would take the Jones Boyos 6 months to do it. I had a search of Indeed and Reed recruitment but can't find any jobs. frown

This says factory work is starting around about now:

That report is very badly researched. The factory work did start in January this year - https://www.tvr-car-club.co.uk/news/tvr-factory-re...

The part about hybrid/electric has come from LE himself on several occasions including the Audacia bond prospectus:

He also said that the factory work would take around 6 months and they would be in before then. If they are going to produce the car next year then they need to get a shift on. Pre-production and testing still to be done and the area set aside for this beside the main building was also supposed to be finished by now. Then there's the small matter of factory fit out, hiring staff and a zillion other things and no sign yet of the 'official' TVR parts company after the Racing Green divorce.

Did I overhear some reps were over looking that ind estate with a mind to battery production...... Might there be a connection.

I thought he said the team were busy “clearing out sheds” which would suggest Tvr have a presence on site. Surely the office space has been all planned out.
Has anyone seen a big order for desks yet laugh
