I believe that my car was the first to painted with the colour which became known as Cascade Copper. At the time (late 2002) Danielle at the factory only had a 1inch by 4inch 'swatch' and we had to try to guess how it would look on a T350. It was catchily called Magenta/Gold from Rage Extreme.

The code I have is shown in the pic (assuming I have managed to upload it.....)
I have had the front resprayed a couple of times at Central TVR over the years so I'm sure they could tell you for sure.

Afternoon Chap.

I have been a bit crap at getting to the pub meets, new site is much easier for me so should make it more often going forward.

You could try Simon at Windrush Paintworks in Witney, he has been painting TVR's for about 30 years or so.

Cheers
Martin.

Thank you for the details,

Now I’m totally confused as the body colour has thrown me as I really thought that DH 993 would be cascade copper

My handbook says cascade purple but cascade purple is DH 991 ..

Confused ..
I will need to do some more investigation..

Thanks you again for getting back to me

Call Brendan at Concept Performance as he has done paintwork to a Tuscan in Copper Cascade, hopefully the link below shows the car in question.

I think the Tuscan in the above link is Desert Moondust (same as the original 1998 motorshow prototype). Not sure how Cascade Copper differs (if at all) but from memory that colour/name was introduced around the time of the T350 so 2003/2004?

Pretty sure the owner told me it’s Copper Cascade

where the roof comes on and off has chipped the fibre glass back to its bones.. plus bonnet needs full respray as the heat has faded the colour, plus chips by the boot due to the roof going in and out - so all full respray..

tried concept performance- brendon and the nu,ber doesnt seem to work.. i will try and e mail

Desert Moondust and Cascade Copper could well be the same colour I don't know, but I do know that Desert Moondust was around in 1998 and then Cascade Copper appeared in 2002/2003, so maybe just a rename of the same colour?

Surely David at Surface and Design will know the paint code?

They are different colours. I have 2 cars in these colours - CC and DM - and they are different

Hi Alex,

Trying to know exactly what my paint is, is becoming a right old smelly job!

The outrageous brand paint I have CFI - 301 is a purple orange colour which seems to be a mix of cascade copper and cascade indigo -
I now have 3litres/3.5litres now and have been promised a further 2 litres just in case.

Paints4u.com - also have a purple/orange paint that looks identical to mine, but they no longer stock this colour -
I wonder if DH 993 is in fact Purple/orange
