TVR's....where are you?
Discussion
There were two Tuscans in Barmouth a couple of weeks ago and few more about 5 weeks before that.
But, yes, a very rare sight on the road.
In comparison, I nipped in to Crewe last Saturday and again on Sunday and on both days saw a Lambo. Different models, but they all look nearly the same don't they.

Is it just me or am I just at the wrong place? I have hardly seen any TVR this summer year? I do lots of driving around the Cotswolds. I've only encountered a few Chims, a griff and a Tuscan for the past 6 months! I have seen more Morgans than TVR's this summer!?!? Are the fellow TVR owners preserving the cars for future value?
I'm often out and about in the Cotswolds in my burgundy Chim- but not much this summer as its been away having an engine rebuild (hopefully getting it back this week!). I've seen a few about around Lechlade, Stow, Burford etc. Couple of dark blue Chims, a BRG Griff, and at least two Tuscans.

I often see a blue Tuscan 2 convertible when I go to Crewe. But, yes, a very rare sight on the road.

If you ever see a light silver blue Tuscan, it is probably mine. The places you mentioned are my regular hunting ground. A424 between Burford and Stow is one of my favourites.I've seen a few about around Lechlade, Stow, Burford etc. Couple of dark blue Chims, a BRG Griff, and at least two Tuscans.

I'll be spottable in Wales this weekend.
Thats a pretty big area....I've not driven mine much this year as i planned, took it back home to Blackpool from the Midlands in March, got it back in May! No events turned up or weather been too bad, so i've taxed it again to use it as long as i can before i SORN it to get some miles in.
The cost is becoming difficult to justify for a 1000 miles a year. I've exhausted the foreign trips which i used to do 3-4k miles, so i need somewhere new to go. A highland fling sounds promising if weather stays good
Everybody's right, I drive miles, down in to Wales, down to Stratford and Evesham, & I never see a one. Except the other day stuck in traffic on the M6 a silver Chim passed going south, well done that man (or lady). And having done 35k miles or so in my yellow Chim, only had one 'spotted'! It does however make it all the more pleasurable when you see a likeminded enthusiast
Drove my Chimaera from Warrington to Blackpool last Saturday. Weather was dry, but god it was bloody cold.......roof off .................all the way up the M6
and M55, approx 60 plus miles.
Thatch is a bit thin on top, to say the least, and i forgot the wooly hat !
Took the car to Lee at Trim-Unique for a new roof and a few other bits.
He could not stop laughing was he watched me pull up, i must have looked "cold" as he invited me in for a nice hot brew.
Hoping to pick the Chim up this weekend, and as long as it's not pising it down, it will be "new roof" off all the way home.
It's what a TVR is all about.
