Anyone looking to buy their other half a pressie - TVR themed of course - should look at the price reductions on the TVR site. For example, a woman's gilet was for sale at an eye watering £120. Its yours today for just £15, yep, that's right FIFTEEN POUNDS.
There are only 8 items for sale, but even so, big savings on them all. So what are you waiting for, get your wallets out.

Has Teddy been carefully and expensively sitting on this stuff for 5 years and finally run out of patience? There are only 8 items for sale, but even so, big savings on them all. So what are you waiting for, get your wallets out.

That original red one is different to the orange copy. Lots of changes. None of them for the better.
The Orange Helical car isn't any different at all from the original factory cars apart from the Aston engine. It was built as a exact replica, indeed the body was made from the original moulds and the tub is an original TVR one. So its the angle and/or the colour you're basing your opinion on. It Just proves that the Cerbera Speed 12 is not an attractive car in any form. The blue and black one is very different and looks way better imo.

Yes I'd agree. They didn't create it last week, have a poor 1st week of sales, and then basically give it away the next week. It looks like it has been in their warehouse and on their books for years, and is clearly dead stock. I suspect it was created back in 2018 when there was the TVR logo on the Rebellion Racing cars. It didn't sell and it has sat there ever since.Sensibly they have decided just to dump it and get something for it, other than it's weight as rags from the waste company. There is no TVR racing. They don't have any racing cars. They don't produce any racing cars. They don't race cars.
My TVR isn't roaring back. It's in the garage, next to the old B roadster. It's not sleeping though. It's like Chuck Norris.... Chuck Norris doesn't sleep. He waits. It's why there's no life on Mars. Chuck Norris has been there... Reminds me of the Bonneville that Moses rode down the mountain on. One day soon the beast will awaken. I'm pretty sure if I took all the badges off it no one would know what it was. Especially those that don't know. And those that don't know they don't know. Or those that never knew. She's still less than 54k miles, only 22k on the rebuilt engine which was done in 2011. Or 12. 11 I think... Here's a pic for old times sake.....

Only 22k in 11 years - don't you like driving it? Then again, is 2k a year a reasonable average?

Probably not.. but up until the pandemic hit I was working offshore and overseas so annual mileage for me was very low anyway.. and probably less than a thousand miles since the start of 2020… (bad case of C19) Bought the Aston in 2016 so fun mileage was split between them too.. Then again, is 2k a year a reasonable average?

I used to do about 20k plus miles a year. Since retiring at the start of covid, or thereabouts I do the thick end of fk all mileage, (apart from track days).
I quite like it!
Same here Peter… I’m struggling to justify the ‘fun’ cars… I hate waste, particularly food waste, but when I look at road tax and insurance per mile it’s a bit ridiculous… and that’s without current fuel prices… a lot of people I know are going to struggle financially this winter coming, especially the elderly and those on or near on minimum wage.. time for a change in thinking…..I quite like it!

What?No really GW me no understandee… I did go out with a Polish girl for a while… should have married her she was very special… and fit.. I mean like really fit. Very attractive too. She ran marathons. And intelligent.. an unusual quality in a woman. Generally speaking that is… And she was very physical. Like really physical.. had to go on a high carb diet to keep up. And cut down on the alcohol.. worth it though…. Reminds me of the time I went on a radical diet, quit alcohol, quit smoking, and started a manic exercise programme.. was the worst three hours of my life.. who knew… anyway, Polish girls, very special… Swedish ones are ok too in my personal experience.. so which ones are the best I hear you say… my vote would be.. oh hang on my phones ringing..

Chap - such sexist remarks don’t reflect well on you. Wind it in or take a time machine back to Edwardian times. Oh Gazza I despair for you.. you have no sense of humour… and you’d do well to keep the personal insults to yourself they’re most unbecoming.. I think maybe you’re the one who needs to ‘wind it in’ if you’re looking for a bit of confrontation you can pm me Gassing Station | General TVR Stuff & Gossip | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
