Victory? And a glass of Merlot? smile
It was actually Cab Sav , bottling Nebbiolo (Barolo grape) tomorrow .. had to double the size of the wine cellar to hold 200 bottles... decided to lay down 8 bottles from each brew.
This second childhood is really quite enjoyable , trouble with your first childhood is you have no money and you're only given fruit juice to drink. drunk

Ah Barolo.... that special aroma of tar and roses, the nebbiolo grapes basking in warm sunshine on the hillsides of Piedmont, picked by beautiful scantily clad Italian women, fine ciabatta and dolce latte on the table, the roar of a well driven Ferrari echoing through the valleys..... oh the memories........

It appears that some areas are experiencing a sharp drop in the level of support for those needing care in the community. hehe

Make sure you get the genuine items. Probably best to ask someone like Powers.

All the generic cheap ones are made of a less pliable material and split in a very short time. Spend the right money and get the right parts and you won’t be under the car in 18 months time.

I've used Bailcast CV boots for more than 20 years without any problems. They are made of a neoprene mix, not rubber, which does not degrade in sunlight or crack with age. When I rebuilt my Chim driveshafts with Prolinx CV joints I used the Bailcast boots. You only need to remove one joint to fit both boots.

If you cannot get the joints off you can use a CV boot cone. It can be hard work though unless its a hot day to slide the boot down the cone and over the joint.

In the link you can see the sizes so simply measure the diameter of the shaft and the joint where the boot fits.

I don't recommend the 'universal' ones. Available from most motor factor outlets, eBay, Amazon etc.

Thanks! They're the same inner and outer aren't they?

I'm asking for confirmation reassurance rather than pure ignorance!

Sadly it's still a work in progress..... I've just been sitting in the sunshine brushing aphids off my fledgling chilli plants smile Interestingly I had a hand in disposing of them where they fell on the bench courtesy of a ravenous bishy smile

Oh, hoping to finish the gh in the next two weeks.... maybe....Everytime i'm asked about it I get a glazed look getmecoat
