Back on topic, nothing to do with the new TVR as there is nothing to say.

Stripped out a little more out of my Track Days Skoda yesterday and took it for a spin down the country lanes. fk me, it is so fast and surefooted I was really surprised. Can’t beat a FWD with LSD around the Twisties.

Drove my Boxster back late last night via all country lanes, roof off. It really is a nice place to be.

On the TVR front, I admit I regret selling my Vixen. It was horrible to drive, but now I am retired I would’ve had the time to play around with it and improve it…such a beautiful car.

I wonder where it is now. Anybody know?
I do like them a lot but need sorting, which of course nowadays with there being lots of upgrades make them better overall.

They are very pricy now

I really can’t tell you the last time I saw a TVR on the road. Sad really.

Billions of grey SUVs. Just goes to show how individual most people are. banghead

At least mine is red. wink

Saw three at the weekend between Hexham and Dunbar, completely unrelated and at different parts of the country; it lifts the spirits...

There was one right in front of me my entire journey in Suffolk yesterday. Today the same with a different one and possibly Friday with another.

I think it’s getting a bit out of hand but bloody great.

I never see another TVR. My wife sees loads. I'm on my way to Le Mans and she messages to say she's seen a Taimar.

I’m impressed that you have a wife who would recognise a Taimar!

Mine doesn’t know a Ford from a Ferrari.

To be fair, she loves the Chimaera. Would recognise a Griff, Sag and S series. She also loves her MX-5, and admitted she needed to Google the Taimar. laugh

I can understand that, a Taimar looks almost the same as a M-series, so spotting a Taimar and to be sure it is one and not a M-series and have to look it up, is not to bad, it means she wants to know for sure and share it with you, thats a plus smile

Morning Peter,

Your old vixen was at the Lancashire TVRCC monthly meet last night, so alive and well in the Northwest.

Sorry for the poor quality picture but it’s a screenshot from a video from yesterday.

Looks like very dry cut hay.
Very hot exhausts.

Did you have any barbeques at the campsite ?

Thanks for that. Good to know it is being used. The guy who bought it from me bought it for his son to drive as a daily. I’m sure he was only about 19 years old! Not sure if he still has it or it is with a new owner.

It’s the Peaks to the Beach run in a couple of weeks so if I see it there I will ask the owner. Failing that, hopefully they’ll be back at next month’s club meet.

Are TVR taking a leaf out of the SNP's handbook on business management? Timelines are broadly similar. smile

"The SNP Government's handling of the ferry network has taken another hit after it was revealed the upgrading of Ardrossan Harbour has been delayed until 2026. The work was originally due to be completed by the time the Glen Sannox was supposed to set sail in 2019."
