There is a man who has actually succeeded, in creating a successful sports car manufacturing business.
It all began I think, with him modifying a BMW saloon.
Christian von Koenigsegg is a remarkably skilled engineer, which must have been a very important talent in achieving success.
Les Edgar is ??????????
I wonder if LE looks at Koenigsegg and either thinks, that should have been us or, I cannot understand how they did so well?
Yes, I recently watched a video of him (on carwow channel) and I was thinking that he would be a great owner for TVR, to do entry level cars reusing some components they produce It all began I think, with him modifying a BMW saloon.

Else, I think you are confusing him with Mate Rimac who started with the electrification of an old BMW. And who seems also a nice chap.
Regarding the crash tests, maybe it's for the US (Pagani is also crashing cars).
Caterham sell only kit cars there. Morgan is selling for the first time a 4 wheeler with the last Plus Four (which cost a lot, so maybe partially because of this and the extra regulations needed).

That website should be closed down though.
How can TVR continue with what is bordering on a scam website after all these years of delivering nothing?
How can TVR continue with what is bordering on a scam website after all these years of delivering nothing?
Is there someone here who is very excited, having only just seen the TVR website.
They could ask a question on ;
https://www.tvr.co.uk/contact-us
Perhaps:- Am very excited, I want to place a deposit, but can I first make an appointment to view the Griffith?
Wonder if they actually do replies ?

Weekend at Bernie's/TVR holders.
The website "Deposit" page currently says :
"Got a question about placing a deposit? Read our FAQs. or alternatively call us on +44 (0)330 120 0032"
I tried ringing that number today, intending to ask why they are still encouraging people to pay deposits when the company has no factory, or staff, or cars. But it just goes to an answerphone.
I then tried filling in spurious details on the order form, just to see where it takes you. It redirects to a card payment page which appears to still be live. That's naughty, given that for all intents & purposes the company is dead in the water.

A new group of bisssnesssmen are taking the company over. Completion due 1st quarter. Oh and there's an application to strike off TVR Racing.
So, nothing has changed.
So has Les come out of it? So, nothing has changed.
Scott free or has he had to put his hand in his own pocket for the first time?

Another director bites the dust. For those of you who may remember the appointment of Richard Smith on 7th March 2019. No?
Here's a clue. He was the chap who posted on Facebook telling a deposit holder that he would give him a free flight in his helicopter to Ebbw Vale to the new TVR factory......

His factory set up skills were never used. Shame. Here's a clue. He was the chap who posted on Facebook telling a deposit holder that he would give him a free flight in his helicopter to Ebbw Vale to the new TVR factory......

Well done for investigating.
Make sure that you use a credit card (not a debit card), then you could use the card payment page to give him a nominal tenner.
After a short probable period of silence, inform the credit card company that the 'merchant' (as credit card firms call them) has retained your money, but has failed to respond or provide anything to you, and that you have just found out that the business has not been active for several years. You want a refund.
That should make the card company examine, why they are party to curious goings on.
I see Wells Cars are actually making the Vestige, and doubling production next year. Not a great looker but they’ve done this from scratch in a couple of years. Well done !!!
In the meantime TVR made up some old b
ks about moving to an airfield, still take deposits for a patently non existent production line and by doing sod all have dragged the TVR name about as low as it can get.

Just had a look on their website and I like the look of the Vertige. In the meantime TVR made up some old b

Nice to be different and they seem to be making a success of it.
