Here is a pic from last week.
Thanks.
If Peter Wheeler was alive today I’m sure you would know him like a close friend after this ultimate and what must be a very intimate relationship with one of his cars.
The world is full of amazing people and I bet your one of them.

Modern superstars… plastic interior handles that snap when you open the door, sensors constantly telling porky pies through a combination of heat and vibration. Lambo clutches that get eaten regularly, massive tyres that wear very quickly if the car is pushed. The list is endless I can tell you.
So if someone mentions this car has been constantly fettled, any hard core Supercar driver would pretty much agree it’s par for the course.

A thread that simply can’t be denied.
What a car, what an owner and what an effort to keep your car on form.
Deeply inspiring stuff for those of us who just love the shapes and sounds of TVR cars and wish to defy the maddening crowd by actually using them.

Wow!

That s just awesome. Never heard of any speed 6 getting to 160k on the factory engine. Gives me some hope ha ha ha !

How has the t5 and diff held up or the chassis come to that.

What a machine. I hope I can steward mine into the end times and create all those memories you must have created with yours.

Also that flip paint must have been a bugger to match with a front end respray. I want mine done but I keep getting warned off with "they will never get a good match".

Well done car. Well done owner!

Look what happened on the way to Cadwell trackday today.....
Phew, I thought you were going to say 'we ran out of fuel 10 miles from the track' an incredible achievement indeed, dread to think of the servicing costs though! driving

Not sure who warned you. I was told by one 'painter' that though the paint was expensive matching wasn't a big problem, after all it's alsorts of different colours already........

To be fair mine is Grigio Titanio not flip. I had 2 spectral analysis jobbies done and sprayed out which didn't come close really. I expect a good paint shop could custom match fairly well. Its on the list of things to do once the financial apocalypse is over so she will have a nice new pain job in 5-10 years time....
