Pardon my apparent ignorance but how is it unique when there's another one (purple) in the video haha

That's Helicals TR12 with a Turbo charged Aston V12 which been touring the USA for the last 6 months hehe
There's also a metallic tango one which we had at Lytham Hall in the summer, but no engine in it then .

I tend not to offer information to rude and obnoxious replies. Seeing as the car was mine, I’m pretty sure I know all the relevant details.

The nonsense claim that nobody knows what a TVR is in the U.S is simply false. It has in fact been genuinely surprising just how many people know of the marque and the various models. I am stopped daily and asked “is that a TVR [insert model name]?” in traffic, while parking, at the petrol stations etc. A fair number assume there’s a Rover V8 in a Cerbera but for the later models they tend to be far more knowledgable. Conservatively I’d say 60%+ of people I meet know either the marque or the model. The dead spot for recognition tends to be models between the Griffith and Cerbera.

The three most recognised TVRs in the US are by far the Tuscan (S6), the Sagaris and the Speed12. Swordfish, Looney Tunes, the various console games, Top Gear, Fifth Gear and YouTube videos are almost wholly responsible for the exposure.

As mentioned above, all but one of the stated facts are incorrect.
Your anecdotal estimate of 60% is from speaking with "car people", now try it with the "average man-on-the-street"; 60 will quickly become 6 wink

I've provided an actual link to a popular car auction site that backs up my claim. Anyone can simply have a look around those various auctions of TVR's and can clearly see that not many car people even bother to participate in those auctions. Whereas, go to the other end of the spectrum, a Porsche 911 auction, and you'll see numerous bidders. You can scroll through any of the old (or current auctions) of other marques and see much more participation; hell, even a Cobra kit car has more bidders than any TVR auction here.

Can’t quite tell which car the purple one is. I assume it’s Grahams second one. Made from spare panels and chassis (from the original silver car?) but with an Aston v12 engine. I don’t think it’s the helical s12 inspired car as that didn’t have a plate on the bonnet.

My apologies Gazza, I've been talking bks.
Just come from X-Works (having had my TVRs serviced), and Heath tells me both Grahams cars were at X-Works/The Huey Helicopter hangar a few weeks ago for a TVR Club event and Silverstone Auctions asked to film the video there... So you are quite correct ,nothing to do with Helical and I was wrong.

Ah that clears it up. I wasn’t sure but thanks for confirming.
