Hood cover sits on the folded soft-top. Rear light kits for the Chimaera, Cerbera and Griffith are 299.95+10 delivery (inc. VAT) they are quite easy to fit, you do it from inside the boot (no need to remove perspex covers). Clive Reed Zertec Limited info@zertec.co.uk www.zertec.co.uk

curious about the rear lights are they the LED type things similar to on the S type jags ???
The Afterburner tail lights are LEDs. The S-Type has an ordinary incandescent lamp but uses cleverly shaped reflectors to simulate the effect of LEDs (as do Lexus). The only cars to use LEDs (other than high level brake lights) that I can think of offhand are the Maserati 3200, BMW Z8 and of course the early Tuscan S6. London Transport buses also use LEDs.... LEDs are far more reliable, longer lasting and faster reacting than normal lamps. They are not as fast as neon though, which we are going to use for the high level brake light on the fastback roof. There are very easy ways to get into a Griffith that I will not post here. Suffice to say I have no worries about a flat battery. Clive Reed Zertec Limited info@zertec.co.uk www.zertec.co.uk

Lets see 1)The front lights need to go behind a strip of clear plastic 2)The rear light look rather different and it will make people stair wich is a good thing 3)The monaco cover? where dose it go when it rains but im not shower about it 4)I love the seats but tou should do a light weight cloth version which should cost less 5)I have always liked the alloy touches 6)I like the sound of the supension alignment but maybe an option of different spring and shock would be better 7)The brakes are a good idea, there isn't a lot of weight to stop there is all of that power to take into consideration 8)I love the look of the exhaust but how about some tubler manaifolde as well to finish the system off 9)I think Zertec should make a roll bar to finish off the car inside And when I can get my Griffith I know where I will be going for some cool bits to make my Grif my own "ZERTEC"
1) Planned this winter 2) That was the intention 3) In the boot 4) Not much less actually, leather is fairly cheap, the cost is in the labour. 5) Where it all began. 6) It is cheaper to set the car up than buy new parts (which you would still have to set up anyway). 7) McRae uses thes on the WRC so we do as well. 8) We produced tuned length manifolds over a year ago. 9) We will not make a cosmetic version as these can actually be dangerous. Thanks for your comments, it's good to receive feedback. Clive Reed Zertec Limited info@zertec.co.uk www.zertec.co.uk

Yes, we engineered them that way. E-mail me and I will send a PDF file on the brakes. Clive Reed Zertec Limited info@zertec.co.uk www.zertec.co.uk

..the rear lights need to be behind a smoked cover and not flush..I reckon.. ..the exhaust sticks out too much.. ..handbrake lever is a work of art, best one on the market... ...monaco hood looks brill... ..seats are too competition like.. ..brakes are the best available.. ..top marks to Clive for all the effort it must take to design & develop this good stuff.. ..whats next?..how about a new rear view mirror?..

The cast aluminium automatic dipping interior rear view mirror with a shorter stem (for better vision over the folded soft-top/Monaco cover) is in development. Clive Reed Zertec Limited info@zertec.co.uk www.zertec.co.uk

I just wish someone would design a windscreen wiper with the power to clean the screen properly (and not stall when used on a dry screen as happens when wash-wiping) and park out of the eyeline of shorter passengers. Too much to ask? -Manek-

Zertec Development Ethos As development costs are quite high, in general I need about 10 customers to make a project worthwhile (unless I just want to do it for myself). We have an approach that everything is possible until proved otherwise, but whether it is commercially viable is another matter. It is a hard fact of life that owners of newer cars generally have more disposable income than those with older cars and more people can purchase after-market accessories and conversions. This makes it possible for me to continue with more development (more sales = more money for development = faster new product turnaround = more sales etc.). When people copy Zertec designs it hurts this cycle and pi55es me off. To get back to your question, I can and will develop products for the S if someone can convince me that I will not loose money on any particular item, in other words, you get 10 people to stump up a sensible deposit for any idea and we will probably produce it (a bit like TVR really). I forgot to mention the seats will fit and we can quickly engineer the brakes for most 15inch wheels. The mirrors will fit the V8S when they are ready for production. Clive Reed Zertec Limited info@zertec.co.uk www.zertec.co.uk
