I just wish someone would design a windscreen wiper with the power to clean the screen properly (and not stall when used on a dry screen as happens when wash-wiping) and park out of the eyeline of shorter passengers. Too much to ask? -Manek-
Manek - I think the latest model Chimaera has a revised wiper system, not sure about retro fitting though - in theory it should be doable. BTW, when mine starts 'struggling' to wipe when cleaning the screen it's usually a sign the park switch is on it's way out - I'm sure you've replaced a few of those in your time though ... Trefor/.

I am about to seriously start on the Elise and Esprit. The ideas I am looking at are: 1)Afterburner lights for both Esprit and Elise (Esprit behind polycarbonate covers) 2)HID Xenon Gas Discharge lights for both Esprit and Elise (Elise behind polycarbonate covers) 3)Mirrors 4)Those French switches The existing column stalks fit all Lotus cars from about 1988 onwards (Esprit, Elan, Elise, Exige, 340R). [quote When people copy Zertec designs it hurts this cycle and pi55es me off. Clive have you spoken to an organisation called ACID (anti copying in design) they work wonders for people just like you at realistic money for one of the cities biggest law firms. www.acid.co.uk or 020 7880 5742 They are focused on protecting the designs of young innovative designers in all fields and do fantastic work.

If ever there was an argument in favour of validated membership in order to post on Pistonheads, then there it is. Do you really think anyone respects your pathetic, abusive drivel?

Agreed. I need to do a bit of work on this, but it's got to happen as I can't moderate this thing 24 hours a day.

Ted, other forums have selected/respected 'members' do the moderating on the owners behalf. Perhaps that could be a way forward?

Good suggestion -- I was also about to propose that Ted shouldn't try to moderate the whole Gassing area himself -- there'd be no time to do anything else! -Manek-
