Where is your old Tvr now?

Great topic...
Just Googled the number plate of my last TVR (which I sold back in 2006 I believe) and this came up:

I'm still having flashbacks now!!
Wonder if the owner is on here?

I sold my mercury grey S2 390SE (F404MLR) in 1993. wwhen I joined this forum, I found that its in the careful hands of a fellow PHer.
F404 MLR has been mine for the last few years, now with a personalised reg. Had few running issues this year but now all sorted. Any info or pics etc that you have would be much appreciated.
Cheers, Al.

When I had it I, worked shifts- setting off for work at 6am I was an unpaid alarm clock for the street.
It was surprisingly reliable while I had it. I bought it for 13k when it was 3 y.o.(from a rich kid in London) with no MOT -which it promptly failed when repatriated up north. I fitted new shocks and headlights to pass. Then did new driveshaft UJ's before I sold her for 11k after 2 years to a bloke on the wirral
I loved that car!!. I may have some crappy photos of it (I had it in the pre-digital age) you'll need to photoshop me out of some of them!
please can you post some photos of as she is now?

Its been round the country since then, I bought it from a fellow PHer in Kent and its now living in Sussex. I think all the suspension has been replaced or refurbed aswell as the brakes and the roof. In my tenure I've just tarted up the engine bay, fitted some shiny bits and tinted the lights. In the last few months its been sorting the running so all the usual consumables plus airflow meter and ECU and all new earths. Going well now at last. I'll try and add some pics if I can find them. Any you have would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers, Al.
This is my old yellow 3000m that I sold about 15 years ago to Christina Totty's dad.

Are the pop up lights still a bit lazy in operation?

Yes very lazy, so much so that the passenger side one doesn't pop up at all now! That's one of the jobs for the Winter plus fitting new units as they've gone milky and also sorting the wiring/relays so that the side lights can be on without the headlights popping up, a simple guide to this would be helpful if anyone can oblige.
Cheers, Al.
