I happen to think the Tuscan is hideous and after driving it I had it confirmed that it handled hideous too.
My old Cerbie pissed all over them at Duxford and the Tamora will murder it on the track. THAT IS WHY I'VE BOUGHT ONE YOU MUPPET, NOT JUST FOR "LOOKS"
I don't think the back of it is pretty but go and drive one and you might find you wasted £40K if you have the guts to admit it drives better... I doubt it though....

for Gods sake stop slagging each other. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If someone thinks my SLK is a hairdresser's car he's welcome to his opinion, as long as it doesn't get personal. Just stop insulting each other. There are things said here that I am sure you would be too wellmannered to say to each other face to face. For Gods sake remember that you're not just hammering a keyboard and looking into a CRT, theres a human being at the receiving end - even if you can't see him.

I actually don't care if you think the Tamora is ugly, that's your opinion and you are entitled to it. I just thought it immature and shallow to say that without looking at the WHOLE package. A lot of cars aren't pretty, your Tuscan being one of them.
Why you had to get personal with comments about my Wife is beyond me completely. you certainly wouldn't have the guts to say it to my face so you are obviously one of these people who is only brave behind his computer nickname. She's very attractive actually but would be quite angry and upset by what you are implying. It's not even funny.
I'm quite happy to have an adult discussion about cars and if we all had the same opinion it would be boring.
however, what is REALLY boring is when people post crap like you do and slag TVR off all the time. That is exactly why Ted has to keep binning rubbish and virtually censoring the site.

Put my deposit down last week and am going to the factory on Thursday to try to spec it. It's going to be hard though because I have no idea what colour to go for. If you are anywhere near TMS go and see their demo. Got to be the best colour I've ever seen on a TVR. Doesn't look that hot in the pictures but in the flesh its brilliant and changes colour like the chamealeon coloured cars.
Danielle at the factory told me they are doing a new colour called laser blue which looks the dogs whatsits so I will have a look at that also.
Supposed to be ready in March, fingers crossed!!!

I know that but I am trying to make a point. I get fed up with people who say their car is this and that and everything else is shite.
I like all TVR's and wouldn't slag anything off just because the styling wasn't to my taste. I wasn't madly in love with Tamora at first but it's grown on me and now I have driven a couple I am convinced that :-
a) it's rear end is for go not show.
b) it outhandles ANY TVR I have driven or owned. That includes the Tuscan S I went in back to back with the Tamora that handled like a London Taxi in comparison. And I have owned everything except a Chimaera and a Tuscan and driven the rest so I should know. But it just my opinion.
c) it's speed was on a par to my Cerbie which was awesome.
d) The roof comes off which I missed!!
I also hate people who make personal insults to back their arguament up. I have a teenage son that does that and expect more of an adult. Insulting someones wife even in jest is not funny it's pathetic.
Please lets get back to the thread I'm getting bored with this and so must everyone else be.
Flasher, get some photos of laser blue when you go to the factory - I've ordered mine in Halcyon Atlantis Pearlescent, which behaves like a reflex blue, with strong hints of green. Post your piccies on this site, or e-mail me - nubbin@tiscali.co.uk. Get as much info. on the build programme as you can, and let us know how it's going! Cheers...
