Mine is on streetview, they must have been on our street whilst my garage roof was being replaced, normally it's tucked
up if it's not being used.

ETA I've put a request in to have it removed it'll be interesting to see if they actually do

Out of interest why are you asking them to take it off?
good question, 3 reasons i suppose.
1. I'm interested to see if they (google) actually take any notice and do remove it
2. I'm the kind of person who upon falling into a vat of nipples would surface sucking his own thumb - therefore I'm pretty much convinced the house will be burgled, the cat put in the boot of the chim and stolen and my life ruined.
3. Not the mention the fact my ground state is one of total paranoia

I asked them to remove the AMG and the rangie too, the wifes corsa can be stolen as they'd be doing me a favour...bloody thing.

Wonder what the legal implications would be if it ever got stolen from your address. If its locked up in a garage and say the suspect confesses and used googlemaps?

We never asked for them to take the photos nor signed any paperwork saying that they could be used etc etc
I'm not clear on the law but I suspect there would be no comeback whatsoever as they (google) have taken a photo from a public place. I believe if the photographer is on public ground and a subject is visable it makes no difference if it is(or they) are) in/on non public property. I'm sure I read something along those lines a while ago. I think the only execptions are instances of harrasement/intimidation and certain military/govt properties where phoography is restricted, you know, like photographing your family on a day out in London wink

laugh The next thread will be, how many TVR's being repaired on google street view

One of my cars seems to have gone missing. The TVR is not on the driveway but nether is my 206d or the wifes 225, so some how all three are being used by the two of us.

hehe

Spooky happenings here too !! Outside our house Mrs MoJos old Clio is parked (it was written off a year last December) then if I follow the lane upto Mrs MoJo's parents house, my current company car is parked outside next to Mrs MoJo's Allroad (which replaced the written off Clio.) The Griff is safely locked away in the garage smile

Let us know what happens. In the same boat and am not happy with it. Tossing the coin here to decide whether to do it.
Received an email this morning telling me that they'd remove the image and low and behold they have! Frankly I'm amazed.

On google earth the TVR is on the drive, but on street view its gone missing. Looks like a summer work day as my daily driver isnt there either.

OMG last summer someone stole my TVR, took it for a drive then returned it and I didnt even know. Looks like they even took the car cover with them as I always bundle it up by the front door.

OK, quick then. Not wanting to look at your case but what did they do? If I get mine done then a whole street will disappear as I am at the end of a cul de sac.

You have to report each image that you want removed as the streetview is essentially tiled images put together to give the continuous impression. Once it's removed you just get a black tile saying that the image is unavailable, so our house is effectively wiped off streetmap, in all but 2 images when the chimaera must have been out on a jolly or in the garage.

Mine's on, but you can't tell what it is, as it shows the garage door open and my TVR has a cover on it.
