You've got that out of the way now then.

I put my radio front down the side of the seat many years ago.
It gets moved when I vacuum the carpet.

I suppose it's a good thing to have if you were ever selling the car to someone that has never owned a TVR. biggrin

Itching to drive it to work tomorrow now there's a hint of being dry, salt free roads tomorrow. How can the thought of driving a car be so exciting!? biggrin

I love driving in Europe (well, anywhere other than UK really!) as the general populace appreciate the loud brashness of any Tiv. I had a recent 5 day hoon in northern Spain and we had nothing less than a complete welcome and interest when we were parked up or drove through towns and villages. In fact, in many places the villagers got up early to gather around the cars ready to see us off and experience the sound of nine Tivs accelerating as hard as possible away from their village. It would have been quite a show!!

On the other hand, when we hoon down to Rye for a fat brekkie on a sunday morning, any villages we pass throu8gh seem to be full of people with scowls on their faces. You can just imagine that they are thinking we are hooligans for daring to make the slightest of noises.

Finally, each and every time I drive 'the shouty one', it is like my first ever drive in my new TVR and I get excited (no, not in that way you perve!) all over again!

Anticipating tomorrows drive...it's been a few weeks.......so, regardless of the weather, tomorrow morning I will:

-open the garage
-unplug the accumate
-pop open the door
-squeeze myself into the seat
-smell that ohh so distinctive aroma of cold TVR
-turn the ignition key
-hear the immobilisers wine
-watch the speedo and rev counter do their dance
-depress the button on the key to deactivate the immobiliser
-depress the clutch
-tickle the throttle
-turn the key against the spring and.......after a second she will cough into life........
-smile at the boom, boom and din...fantastic......
-smell the fumes
-reverse her out of the garage
-clip myself into the harness
-sit there for two or three minutes thinking that there really is no other motoring experience like this.....
-decide where to go.....
`
Nothing quite like it.......

...and if it's raining cats and dogs, smile at the expression on some other drivers faces....wondering what the lunatic is doing driving that thing in this weather....if they only knew... smile

Bottom line....it makes me smile ........ and alot of other people too.......

...arn't we a lucky lot...enjoy whatever TVR you have everyone!!
