No, but

I, the undersigned do not care if I end up as wormfood due in no small part to Shadytree driving like a lunatic.

Chill out Stu, I was joking.

I'll have some copies at my place for those that need them.

"I the undersigned promise not to sh!t myself when driven sideways through the infamous bottom bend"

"I promise to have a furking good time"

"I promise not to crash Der's pool car (well, not more than once anyway)"

That kind of thing?

Newbie question.

After watching quite a few of the VMAX vids on here and TVRBLISS. Am I correct in assuming that the main two mile straight is taken after the turn.

ie. taken at a rolling start ?

It's a big, wide, 180 degree right hander before the straight.

By prior agreement with your fellow runner and Craig/the start marshall, it is possible to stop at the end of the runway (just after the bend) and try from a standing start.

Previous experience shows it makes bugger-all difference to the terminal VMax at t'other end of the runway though.

Just to add to Aston Guys (excellent) description:

As marshall for the day I'll probably ask you all in the morning to run all of the way round.

In the afternoon this may change if people want to do some standing starts.

Please don't be concerned - I will give ALL drivers plenty of time and space to get well clear of the driver(s) following you. You won't have something fast bearing down on you.

We have a 100% safety record at Brunters. Craig and I aim to keep it that way.

LOL, probably Shady, I managed a 720 down there in DeRs Beetle. Trying a bit too hard for the corner, sort of fast in, fast out. Most un-911 esque. Instead of keeping my foot planted, I eased off. Silly, silly boy.

I am tempted to turn the traction control off and have a go. Aston's warned me NEVER to touch that button

Keep an eye out for GuyR in his tuned GT2.

I seem to remember some very impressive exits from the corner last time, tyres-a-smokin and the axis of the car not exactly being in line with the runway. And all at very high speed.

Not sure about powerslides, but there have been plenty of 360's, 540's, and 720's there before!

Think Greg may even have skillfully performed a 1080 degree there before. Though he does have a look of Rudolf Nureyev about him, not that I can talk!
