Hi

Just replaced the carpets in my 76 Stag. While I took photos of ever wire and bolt in the cetre consul before I removed it, I (and an mate) managed to remove the inertia seatbelts without any concideration for how they go back on the car. I really need to know where the bottom stap goes (the one other than the shoulder mount and the reel its self) so I can get the car moted this week.

Triumph Stag, Restorers Guide seems to indicate that the bottom end of the belt is bolted into the bottom of the B pillar, which would make sense because that's the same as my TR6. If so, like in the TR, you'll need to find the hole then bore a hole in the carpet. Trick is to put the bolt in first, then cut across the head - hey presto - hole in the right place!

Behind the inertia mount - the same bolt. there should be a spacer thingy to let it turn.
