Just bought a GT6 and getting my young lad involved in the engine works. Changed distributor cap; points and rotar arm, HT leads and spark plugs and adjusted the timing (radically!). He has absolutel6 loved it and as as I with him. Next weekend we sort the SUs and fit K&N filters. Loving it!!

God Damn you Triumph owners these pics are really annoying.
I have now officially given up any hope of finding a Triumph 2.5 pi Estate and I wonder if they ever did exist. I guess it would be difficult for some people to understand the appeal of Triumphs and maybe its a generational thing but they kind of get under your skin especially if as an 18 year old your first car was a 12/50 Herald Convertible.
they do exist, see>>

I think the Triumph Vitesse Mk 2 Estate 1969 looks better?

and what is this, a stag V8 estate?

or a Stag Fastback

it does, especially that first picture, like some special effect 'monster' car out some action movie, cool.

I have never seen so much rust on cars as I have done on the 2500 estates I have seen over the last couple of years and parts such as sills etc are hard to come by and cost a fortune. Still not given up hope though.
