Bought myself a TR6
Discussion
This was mine for a few years. It had a very rorty sports exhaust. My wife knew I was on my way home about 5 minutes before I actually arrived. It was also very scary in the wet. The local carburettor specialist, Eike Welhausen, had it on his rolling road to set up the webers, and reckoned it had 170bhp at the rear wheels. Had a fast road cam too. I sold it to fund building a garage and I got fed up of rewelding the diff mounts every few hundred miles!

Supercharger? If you’re going to modify I’d guess supercharging would give biggest bang for buck and more easily reversible... modifying is a disease
Maybe that's what the OP's missing drivebelt is for!https://classicmotorsports.com/articles/six-shoote...
Pictures of the 'mystery of the missing belt', any ideas?
Yep, I think you're right, thanks for clearing that up

I have a straight through big bore exhaust on mine, it just sounds beautiful at full chat, it turns a few heads I can tell you. Six into two into one
God, I bet that sounds utterly epic.Since I was a kid I've adord the sound a TR6 makes. My mate rocks up in his now and again and I literally stand outside to har it every time he heads off in it.
Glorious noise, even on standard pipes.

Except for the number plate! Monochrome plates will never look 'right' on a reflective plate era car!
Each to his own, I get nothing but positive remarksHaving said that, my garage floor is rather more restrained:

Now you just need to source some chrome-edged repeater lenses. Not easy to find, but not impossible...
