TR8 Racer Here in the US

Have a 1980 TR8 that I race SCCA Improved Touring S. Great, fun car. Not entirely competitive in its class, but still much fun.

Anyone else here run a TR8 or TR7V8, street or track? Have some questions for you..and yes, I know Jon Wolfe and have his book.

yes i have a tr8 coupe ex new jersey but has a 4.8 litre john eales engine forged pistons,group A rods etc,close ratio t5 box etc fun fun fun

I got a '80 TR7 convertible that's getting a V8 transplant in the coming months..... was going to build a large horsepower engine from scratch but I've found a TVR 5L engine going cheap that might be just the ticket.... bit of tickling should see a genuine 320bhp..... should be run enough for the street..... going to have LEDA platforms all-round, 4-wheel discs, all built from a bare-metal spray-up.... see my profile for more.
