Advice needed

Hi there,

I'm pretty clueless on cars!

I have a Ford C-Max 06 Auto and I had this advisory on my mot-

front Suspension arm has slight play in a pin/bush n/s and o/s rear bushes (2.4.G.2)

Can you please advise on what this is and the work involved/cost etc! Thank you xx

Best to ask the person who wrote it ?

Given some peoples diagnosis and others interpretation...it could range from nothing at all wrong, to substantially more than they have written.

Hence it is always best to ask the person who has noted any potential issues as to the specifics, as sometimes they can have strange ideas and note down something very different to the actual problem, despite it beijng their job to know and get it right !

Ideally any problems would have been picked and rectified at the inspection prior to MOT though ?

As said get it checked

Last MOT I had the following advisories
Oil leak----Where from, dunno somewhere in the middle, it's not bad though.
Rusty exhaust---How bad, it's not leaking, just some surface rust.


But they missed the knackered ball joints.

Ask your servicing garage to advise, unfortunately you can't rely on an MOT.

Not a drama, may need replacing at next MOT
I usually ask the tester to point out where the issue is then I can work out if it's a home diy or worth getting the garage to do it.

It will be the rear bushes in the front lower arms. They are not a massive expense if they are like the MkII Focus.
