Hi Guys

Need a little help My Wife has a 2012 Citroen DS3 1.6 Hdi 90bhp...... The CV joint has just been replaced on my wifes DS3 and everything was all good. Now when breaking you hear a random clunk noise when the brake is applied. Then it goes. driving is normal then brake again and you hear a single clunk noise. This noise is coming from the Centre/Drivers side of the car.

I have had the car up and there doesn't seem to be anything that jumps straight out. NO loose callipers etc. NO movement from the Driveshaft or CV joint etc everything looks and moves as it should.

A little baffled to say the least .

My wife uses this car daily so I need to diagnose and sort this fault ASAP

Any help is much appreciated Guys.

Suspension bushes or drop links. Get it checked proper if you can't access these parts.

Double check any subframe bolts are tight.
