Looking for Freelance Chassis and Suspension Engineers

Hi, very briefly, I am looking for Freelance Chassis and/or Suspension Engineers for a personal project. I'd also need someone to fabricate the chassis and suspension components.

I have designed a basic chassis, but need experts to 'make it good'. I also need help with the suspension geometry as this is a specialist skill and will have a huge impact on my enjoyment of the vehicle.

Define freelance ?

The lines of Webster Race engineering, Hauser, John Sleath, Andy Robinson racecars etc etc would all build rag car and perhaps other chassis.

Or possible some kit car manufacturers might consider such work ?

Hi stevieturbo, thank you for your reply. I'm not necessarily looking for a man in a garage, although if I found a man in a garage with exceptional chassis/suspension design and fabricating skills, I'd be happy! Ha!

Your initial suggestions sound viable. I guess I was wrong to state that whoever I use would have to be 'freelance'. It's just that I'm struggling to find a company who'll take me seriously seeing as this is a bespoke project. Very frustrating!

Depending how much reengineering you want, you might find someone like Ginetta would be able to take on some design and fab work.
