There’s a similar post to this a few months back. Similar symptoms with the when you brake the noise stops etc. E-Bmw if I’m correct suggested it was was the pads rattling against the shims and was correct. I think the post was from robbocop? I’d recommend going with what E-Bmw has suggested, won’t cost much or anything at all.E-bmw said:

I stand by my "derision" if you want to call it that. I did not say that your diagnosis was incorrect, just that your assertion that suspension rattles can not change under braking is incorrect.E-bmw said:
