Spring clicking noise on 2010 Polo

My Polo has developed what sounds like a spring going ping when I turn the steering in one direction.

It happens as I begin to turn the wheels but then it will not do it again until I straighten the wheels up

Any idea what it could be.

Dealer changed Cv boot a couple of months and front shocks changed six months ago

Sounds like a strut-top bearing seized.
