I usually just wash it with Meguiars Gold Class shampoo, along with the rest of the car. But should I use something to condition it?

Many thanks.

Not sure about conditioning but I would advise using something perhaps once or twice a year to keep water beading off it.

Plenty of proprietary waterproofer out there, I'm guessing they're all very similar. I've been using renevo products, my buddy uses fabsil.

Reminds me mine needs doing, but it'll have to wait until spring now.

Yes, something to provide UV and weather protection.

Megs, Autoglym, 303 etc. all do kits which include the cleaner and protectant.

+1 for Fabsil Gold. I’d thoroughly wash the fabric first with the Autoglym dedicated soft-top cleaner and then let it dry. Then brush on the Fabsil going one way only. Let that dry then apply a second coating going across the first coat (basically criss-crossing the first coat). You’re then good to go. Try pouring some water on the hood once done. You’ll be amazed at the results!
