You know when you drive over painted motorway stripes and you hear that 'WoooooW' noise (best way I can describe it). Well my car is doing that, but only sometimes, but usually when taking a right hand corner. Doesn't even do it on every right hander, I've also heard it once when going over a speed bump.
What's the most likely cause? I've heard wheel bearings but you'd think that would occur all the time, or at least on every right hand bend.

Wheel bearing. Poss bad tyre. Poss diff whine but unlikely. Those are my best guesses!

The last time I experienced something that sounds exactly like this, I discovered that one of my rear tyres was completely flat and shredded a few hundred yards later!

Could be nothing, just tyre and paint surface interaction at a particular angle. I have had it on new tyres, that I know are fine, and have been aligned. Does on some white lines, not on others. Now rumble strips (red) that come before a roundabout on a fast road, they are a real pain.

On my Hyundai, a small piece of trim had come loose in one corner (under the front corner of the front bumper). this allowed it to rotate back a bit and caught the tyre on full lock situations.
