We have recently bought a Mondeo MK3, 2013, estate, its a Econetic 1.6 diesel. I think its a pretty basic spec.

Its on 16" wheels.

The suspension is a far harder ride than we'd like, I don't think there is a 15" wheel option.

Some of this model I think had an active suspension option, with comfort and sport settings, ours does not have this.

Does anyone know if a different model had softer springs and dampers? Maybe the Ghia?

If you are on run flats, a change to standard tyres will make a noticeable difference.

Have you tried lowering the tyre pressures by a few PSI, it could be that all are pumped up to the "full load" setting.

Or as happens in many cases...some eejit has pumped it to the moon as they have no notion about units.

Last Volvo I bought had the tyres at 51psi....idiot before obviously couldn't understand 35psi so filled them to 3.5 bar
