Not self levellers are they? If they are the garage quote sounds too little for quality parts, i'd be expecting that cost each.

For standard gas shocks KYB are usually Japanese made and good quality, fitted them and new uprated springs on my Forester to replace the leaking rear self leveller the cost of which (Tokico brand, main dealer only) would make you cry.

Be wary if your OE shockers are self levellers, because to replace with standard gas shocks usually requires new uprated springs to maintain ride height.
