Had my red '98 Saab convertible machine polished. Came up great apart from the front n/s wing which has suffered bad UV discolouration.
Decided to blow it over with a matched aerosol spray. Colour match and coverage is good. My question is: how best to get a shiny finish? I've T-cut it a couple of times so should I keep going? Use something coarser? Should I lacquer it? Will a resin polish improve it?
Any suggestions greatfully received.

I think you'll struggle to get a good shine out of a rattle can respray but if you are game to try you may need to start with wet and dry paper moving on to increasingly fine machine polishes.
