Come out this morning to find some little wan#er has decided to kick or jump or fall onto my cars wing and leave a massive dent on it. As the cars 11 years old what's the best route of action to sort this myself don't matter if it's not perfect but ideally a big better than a head sized dent in it.
The paint hasn't got a mark on it and the location means it's definetely a deliberate act if vandalism.
Hoping the car park cctv brings something back.

Remove the headlamp and push it out from behind.

Should be able to get at that by taking out the arch liner (or light), doesn't look creased or cracked so paintless dent repair might be able to sort it or maybe just knock it out yourself if you feel up to it..

Find a PDR tech in your area & ask them.
Whilst it's tempting to have a go yourself & it might work you risk creating a problem that they won't take on.

Whilst you might think a few knocks from the inside might improve it, there's huge chance that it won't and every possibility that you'll just put even more dents into the area without really removing what's already there.
I'd say that if you've no experience of removing dents you've got less than a 10% chance of improving it and more than a 90% chance of making it worse.
For around the £80 mark you could call in a pro.

Was going to take arch liner off warm it up with hot water and push it out gently it's pretty flexible it nearly pops when you press round the edges of it. Doubt I will get it done for 80 pound where I live.

Plus it's 11 year old car and probably good practice to have a go. Surely the only way to learn is to try.

Warm it up with hot water rofl
Or you could fill the cavity with un-popped pop corn and then heat the panel up laugh

As for not get getting it done for around £80 ...... well unless you live in Singapore, a remote Island that hasn't got a PDR tech residing on it or the moon, then the £80 ish mark should be a pretty safe bet.

Having a go 'to learn' always sounds fine ...... but most PDR techs invest in weeks (if not months) worth of training and then they practice, and practice, and practice, and practice.
And then a very, very, very, very long time after their initial training they might actually be good enough to start charging - and then they might start to make a living from their investment and all the time and commitment they put in as it eventually becomes a well developed skill.

I'd guess that the only thing you'll learn from attempting one dent is that isn't as easy and didn't turn out as you imagined thumbup

Don't know what model it is but if its 11 years old id imagine a replacement panel from a breakers would be around £40-£60 depending on the model.

Going to go to a dent specialist as getting a used panel wil have different colour fade.

Been getting mixed responses saying it wil only be 90 percent better some sayingit needs to be drilled pulled and filled and painted etc etc.

Not sure who to trust with the work the ones who think it's simple or the ones who reckon 90 percent better but 100 percent if drilled filled repainted

Anyone suggesting drilling should be avoided, we're not in the 1960's

The ones who do pdr said 90 percent improvement but cannot gruntee it being more than that. Suppose that's covering there own ass incase it goes wrong

If anyone knows a decent pdr around dartford area or close-by in Kent let me know.

It's an odd one most are saying it won't be very good unless it's painted too and not just pulled out. Maybe I don't have anyone decent near me.

If we knew roughly where you are you might get a few suggestions.

East Midlands I'd recommend Dent Brothers or Dent Technique.
